Kazakhstan's Forum of Democratic Forces held round table discussion
in Almaty's press club last night

Correspondnets of RFE/RL report from Almaty that Kazakhstan's Forum of Democratic Forces uniting several opposition movements and parties, held a round table discussion at Almaty's Press Club yesterday, evening.

Such political figures as Ghaziz Aldamzharov - Vice Chairman of Kazakhstan's Republican People Party, Seydakhmet Quttyqadam - leader of Orleu movement of Kazakhstan, Ersain Erqozha - Chairman of "Next Generation's Future - Education" movement, Karishal Assanov - an independent politician, Ermurat Bapi - Editor-in-Chief of SolDat Newspaper, Vladimir Makalkin - a member of Kazakh Parliament's Lower Chamber (Mazhilis) and many others were given a floor at the discussion reportedly.

Social and economic conditions, Kazakhstan's population finds itself currently, issue of possible return of millions of dollars impounded by U.S. and Swiss authorities in Western Banks' accounts belonging to Kazakhstan's top officials, and other matters were discussed at the round table reportedly.
